Role: Electric LGV Driver
Contract: Full time permanent
Hours: 07:00-16:00
Location: Rathcoole Dublin

Purpose Of The Role:

The Electric LGV Driver will be responsible for the Scheduled delivery and pickup of shipments. Opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience in driving. Full training and support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carrying out Multi drop pallet/parcel work – deliveries and collections throughout the day as required

- Loading/unloading of the transport vehicles within the scope of the delivery tours

- Class B licence Vehicles – > 3.5T

- Consideration of legal regulations (Load securing) as well as economic, qualitative and customer-oriented aspects

- Processing of freight documents in an internal context with electronic device.

- Vehicle Checks and care of the vehicle

- Start times are between 06.30Am – 07.00 AM

- Ensure accuracy, professional image and good attitude towards customer service

- Geographical knowledge of Dublin

Skills & Experience:

- Holds a valid Class B driving license

- Has experience with Van deliveries and rota-based delivery routes

- Possesses an understanding of vehicle safety, and load securing procedures

- Is dependable with daily vehicle checks and maintenance

- Demonstrates excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus

- Works effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Is flexible with shifts and routes

- Has solid geographical knowledge of Dublin

- ADR certification (or willingness to obtain) for the safe transport of hazardous goods.
