About this role
The Marketing Agentic Content Engineer will build and continuously improve the AI-powered agents and workflows that move content from generation through review, translation, and publishing — connecting tools such as Claude, Canva, ContentHub, Sitecore, ClickUp, and similar systems. This role owns both ends of that pipeline: the technical integrations that move content through the system, and the prompt engineering and quality practices that shape what the AI actually produces, including the brand, messaging, legal, and compliance guardrails required across Infor's specialized industry verticals (e.g., Food & Beverage, Manufacturing & Distribution). This role will partner closely with marketing content owners, creative teams, marketing operations, and process owners to ensure what gets built holds up in real production use and reflects brand and messaging guidelines, positioning, workflow requirements, approved images, and other stakeholder requirements. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience building automated or agentic workflows with LLM platforms, who also know how to improve what those platforms produce — not just move it through a pipeline faster. Candidates should be able to take process direction from a review team and turn it into a working technical solution, connect their build work to broader process and strategic goals, and treat output quality as a core part of the job rather than a downstream concern. This is an individual contributor role focused on hands-on build, workflow design, and AI output quality.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Build and maintain agentic workflows moving content from AI generation into staging and publishing systems.
- Build and maintain prompt libraries and testing practices that improve AI output quality, reduce hallucinations, and strengthen brand-voice consistency.
- Define and apply content governance guardrails — brand, messaging, legal, and compliance — particularly for Infor's specialized industry verticals, in partnership with solution marketers.
- Partner with the content process review team to translate process findings and recommendations into working agentic workflows.
- Maintain and improve integrations between systems such as Claude, Canva, ContentHub, Sitecore, ClickUp, or other similar tools.
- Set up and manage translation workflows so content can be routed and published across markets.
- Troubleshoot breakdowns in the content pipeline and fix root causes, not just symptoms — whether the issue is a broken integration or a weak prompt.
- Work with marketing content owners to understand content needs and build workflows that match real team workflows.
- Document workflows so marketing operations can run and troubleshoot them without engineering support.
- Flag scaling risks or technical debt before they block the broader content program.
- Support the ongoing build-out of the AI content program as it scales across additional teams and use cases.
- Identify where a workflow or process fix could apply beyond its original use case, and raise it as a broader opportunity to the content process review team or program leadership.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 2-3 years building automated or agentic workflows using Claude or comparable LLM platforms, including API/tool use, not just chat-based prompting.
- Hands-on prompt engineering experience: building and testing prompts, measuring content quality, and reducing errors such as hallucinations or tone drift.
- Marketing content experience: understands content types, review/approval steps, and translation/localization needs.
- Experience integrating systems via API (webhooks, REST, or similar).
- Working experience with Canva's API or Canva-based content generation workflows.
- Experience translating process requirements or recommendations from a business or operations team into a technical build.
- Strong written communication skills, able to explain technical workflows to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and design for change in an evolving program.
- Ability to see beyond a single project and connect build work to wider team or organizational initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience with ContentHub, Sitecore, Claude and/or ClickUp specifically.
- Experience setting up or managing translation/localization pipelines.
- Experience working alongside a process improvement, business analysis, or process review team.
- Familiarity with content governance or AI guardrail frameworks in a regulated or specialized industry context.
