About this role
Description
We're looking for a Senior Creative Lead to own and evolve the Fauna brand across every touchpoint. This is a hands-on, high-impact role, and the distinction matters: this is a creative lead, not a creative director. You won't be setting the tone from the top down. You'll be capturing, harmonizing, and amplifying the tone that already lives inside this company, its mission, and its people.
You'll be responsible for visual design, brand strategy, social content, web design, and creative direction, all working together as one cohesive visual system. You'll report into the marketing team and work closely with the rest of the product design team.
This isn't a role where you sit in a silo. You'll be embedded in the work, shaping how Fauna looks, feels, and sounds to the world, from our website to our social channels to our product launches. We need someone who's hungry to build something from the ground up and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
Key job responsibilities
- Capture and amplify Fauna's creative vision across the brand identity, ensuring consistency and quality across all channels and formats
- Design and produce high-quality visual assets for social media, web, product marketing, events, and campaigns
- Own brand strategy and creative direction, translating Fauna's mission and product story into compelling visual narratives
- Ask the hard questions that resolve ambiguity: define who we are and who we aren't, and make sure every piece of creative reflects that clarity
- Build and maintain a scalable visual design system that ties together web, social, product, and marketing
- Drive the design and evolution of Fauna's web presence, ensuring it reflects the brand and follows the visual system as a whole
- Develop social content strategies and produce content that builds community and drives engagement
- Collaborate directly with founders and cross-functional teams to bring creative ideas from concept to execution, functioning as a true player-captain who leads by doing
- Raise the creative bar and establish processes that allow the brand to scale as the company grows
A day in the life
You might start your morning reviewing campaign performance data and refining a creative brief for an upcoming initiative. By midday, you are leading a cross-functional review with design, marketing, and agency partners — pressure-testing concepts and sharpening the narrative. In the afternoon, you could be evaluating new generative AI tools for creative production or presenting strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Throughout it all, you are balancing hands-on craft with big-picture thinking, ensuring every touchpoint ladders back to a clear creative vision.
About the team
Fauna Robotics, an Amazon company, is building capable, safe, and genuinely delightful robots for everyday life. Our goal is simple: make robots people actually want to live and interact with in everyday human spaces.
We believe that future won’t arrive until building for robotics becomes far more accessible. Today, too much effort is spent reinventing the fundamentals. We’re changing that by developing tightly integrated hardware and software systems that make it faster, safer, and more intuitive to create real-world robotic products.
Our work spans the full stack: mechanical design, control systems, dynamic modeling, and intelligent software. The focus is not just functionality, but experience. We’re building robots that feel responsive, expressive, and genuinely useful.
At Fauna, you’ll work at the frontier of this space, helping define how robots move, manipulate, and interact with people in natural environments. It’s an opportunity to solve hard problems across hardware and software with a team focused on making robotics accessible and joyful to build.
If you care about making robotics real for everyone and building systems that are as delightful as they are capable, we’re interested in hearing from you.
