Inova Mount Vernon Hospital – Joints is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team.
This schedule for this role will be PRN | Days or Nights | 7:00AM – 7:30PM or 7:00PM - 7:30AM | Rotating days, weekends & holidays | Four shifts in a six week period |

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• May perform additional duties as assigned
Training :
Clinical Technician Academy (CTA):
6 Classroom-style sessions located in Fairfax VA: 8AM – 4:30PM
1 Virtual Orientation Day: 9AM – 4:30PM
1 Virtual EPIC Training: 8AM – 4:30PM
- All dates already pre-determined and fall between Monday – Friday.
- You first week of work will be a Monday – Friday schedule.
- Current Inova Clinical Technicians & rehires under 1 year are exempt from CTA.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Education : High School diploma or equivalent.
• Exp : One years as a clinical tech in an acute care setting, or acute care clinical completed with accredited nursing program.
• Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association,
or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills : Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
