About this role
Summary
Under direct supervision from assigned CNM Ingenuity Director or Manager, provides support to CNM Ingenuity’s FUSE Makerspace. This support entails a broad range of duties, including but not limited to customer service, technical and computer tasks, inventory and asset control, equipment maintenance and repair, organization and cleaning, retail sales and payments, purchasing, data collection, employee supervision, and other tasks necessary for a smooth and orderly shop environment.
Qualifications
Essential Knowledge and Skills
- Experience operating or maintaining 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC routing and plasma, welding, woodworking, and other types of makerspace equipment.
- Exceptional customer service and professionalism skills.
- Excellent situational awareness
- Comfort learning and using a wide variety of software applications
Minimums
- 3 years of industry experience
- AND HS Diploma or GED
Preferences
- Flexible schedule
- Weekend and Evening availability
