Your Role as Baker

As a Baker, you will help prepare and bake a wide variety of bread products by following established recipes and processes. You will work in a close-knit team to ensure that every bakery item meets COBS' quality and freshness standards.

Responsibilities

- Prepare, mix, and shape dough according to recipes and production schedules
- Operate ovens and other baking equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized bakery environment
- Assist team members with daily baking tasks and provide excellent customer service as needed
- Follow health and safety and food safety guidelines strictly

Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

- Ability to work early morning shifts, typically starting between midnight and 4 am
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a small team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle lifting up to 22 kg
- Previous baking experience is an asset but not required
- Food safe certification and basic first aid are assets
- Commitment to upholding COBS Bread quality and safety standards
