What You’ll Do
The Sr. Principal, Technology Strategy serves as portfolio integration leader for one of EASE’s more complex infrastructure portfolios. The role shapes how EASE strategy is translated into portfolio direction, major investment choices, integrated roadmaps, and measurable outcomes. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role maintains an executive-level perspective while selectively going deeper to diagnose systemic delivery, operational, financial, or organizational barriers that require senior leadership action.
This role works in close partnership with AVPs and program leaders, who own domain direction, resources, detailed execution, remediation, and delivery commitments, while providing end-to-end stewardship of the portfolio and broader integration across EASE. The role connects issues that span portfolios and domains, advises senior and executive leaders on significant trade-offs, and balances near-term delivery with long-term outcomes and value. The Expert anticipates and helps resolve the dependencies and risks with the greatest EASE impact and shapes investment decisions, governance, and portfolio operating practices to improve overall portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape how EASE infrastructure strategy is translated into portfolio outcomes, priorities, integrated roadmaps, measures, and investment choices across complex portfolio domains. Advise executives on strategic choices and course corrections.
- Lead integration for a highly complex portfolio and address issues that span portfolios or EASE domains. Maintain an executive-level perspective while going deep enough to diagnose systemic delivery, operational, financial, or organizational barriers.
- Establish an integrated view of major roadmaps, milestones, target dates, and outcomes across complex, interdependent work. Reconcile tensions between delivery commitments, operational needs, investment constraints, and long-term value.
- Anticipate and lead resolution of the dependencies and risks with the greatest EASE-wide impact. Mobilize accountable leaders, frame escalation paths, and resolve systemic issues without absorbing program-level dependency management.
- Guide major investment choices using actuals, forecasts, capacity, expected benefits, technology economics, and risk. Develop scenarios and recommendations that improve value across portfolio boundaries.
- Synthesize complex portfolio information into executive decisions, interventions, and policy or operating-model changes. Establish effective portfolio governance and ensure actions produce sustained results.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior and executive leaders, bringing together AVPs, program leaders, Finance, Architecture, Security, Data, Operations, and other stakeholders to resolve complex trade-offs, align cross-functional priorities, and address the decisions and dependencies with the greatest impact on portfolio outcomes.
- Help set and evolve portfolio integration methods, measures, and standards for EASE. Mentor Principal-level leaders and strengthen portfolio-management capability across the organization.
