About this role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform commercial drywall taping, finishing, sanding, patching, and repair work.
- Apply joint compound, tape, corner beads, and finishing materials to achieve Level 4 and Level 5 finishes.
- Prepare drywall surfaces for painting, wall coverings, and other finish applications.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and finish schedules.
- Identify and correct drywall defects while maintaining quality and production standards.
- Coordinate with project teams to support schedules and project completion.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial drywall finishing experience.
- Experience with drywall taping, finishing, sanding, patching, and surface preparation.
- Ability to produce Level 4 and Level 5 drywall finishes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and finish schedules.
- Proficiency with drywall finishing tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and time management skills.
- Ability and willingness to work 95% night shift work, including overnight schedules and extended hours as required.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work on ladders, scaffolding, stilts, and other elevated surfaces.
Travel Requirement: This position requires extensive travel and an on-site presence throughout the duration of assigned projects.
