The role moves the team from manual, reactive work toward AI-assisted and increasingly autonomous management, while balancing security, compliance, and end-user experience. The manager partners closely with End User Computing, Productivity & Collaboration, AI governance teams, Information Security and Risk Management, Service Delivery, Business Technology organizations, and key technology vendors.

Main Responsibilities

- Design, build, and operate AI agents for proactive remediation, compliance drift detection, security response, and end-user self-service, with human-in-the-loop approvals and audit controls.
- Drive adoption of AI capabilities in endpoint management, including Security Copilot and Copilot in Intune, and integrate agents using Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Microsoft Graph.
- Partner with AI governance, Information Security, Legal, and Privacy teams to ensure AI solutions meet responsible AI, data protection, and least-privilege requirements.
- Measure and report the business value of AI solutions (e.g., hours saved, time to resolution, ticket deflection, compliance) and manage AI consumption costs.
- Engineer modern management, provisioning, remote support, and security solutions for J&J’s onsite, hybrid, and remote workforce.
- Centralize and automate wireless carrier data management to provide a consolidated view of J&J employees with active wireless plans across multiple providers.
- Lead the Jamf Pro to Microsoft Intune migration and the expansion of Mac as a Choice, including organizational change for users, support teams, and business partners.
- Shape long-term Mac and mobile platform strategy, including AI-ready hardware selection (on-device vs. cloud AI) and lifecycle planning.
- Lead endpoint discovery, separation, and integration for acquisitions and divestitures, in line with timelines and regulatory requirements.
- Use Databricks, Nexthink, Power BI, and Microsoft Graph, together with GenAI-powered analytics, to drive data-driven decisions.
- Track vendor roadmaps and industry trends, especially evolving AI capabilities, and adjust plans as features change.
- Maintain service architecture, standards, and documentation, and build AI fluency across the team through coaching and upskilling.
- Technical areas of responsibility:
- Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and Conditional Access
- Security Copilot and Copilot in Intune
- Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and AI agent orchestration (including MCP)
- Intune App Protection Policies (MAM)
- Apple Business Manager and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE)
- App deployment, configuration profiles, and OS update management
- Automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), including AI-assisted development
