- Review Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and remediation reports for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with ASTM standards and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with environmental consultants, legal counsel, and borrowers to clarify technical issues and support timely deal execution.
- Maintain and enhance internal environmental risk management policies, procedures, and qualified consultant lists.
- Stay current on evolving federal, state, and local environmental regulations, and assess their impact on real estate collateral risk.
- Support continuous improvement of the Bank’s environmental risk framework and take part in special projects or initiatives led by the Environmental Risk Manager.

- Strong working knowledge of ASTM due diligence standards, U.S. environmental regulations (e.g., CERCLA, RCRA), and state environmental regulations throughout New England.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making in a business context.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience assessing environmental risks for a bank, financial institution, or real estate lender.
