About the Sr. Associate, Performance Analytics
As a Senior Associate, Performance Analytics, you will support digital media and brand marketing clients, with a particular focus on organic social performance analysis. You will turn data from social platforms, media systems, and client reporting environments into clear insights and recommendations, and help build reliable reporting workflows that reduce manual effort and give teams more time to analyze performance.
You will work across analytics, media, strategy, and client teams to develop dashboards, evaluate campaign and content performance, and communicate what the results mean for future decisions.
As a Senior Associate, Performance Analytics, you will:
- Have a background in the setup, execution, and management of measurement and client reporting for organic and paid social campaigns , while also possessing the ability to assess data quality, to stay organized with ad-hoc inquiries and deadlines, and to be a great cultural addition to our team.
- Analyze organic social performance across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and X. Assess reach, engagement, audience growth, content effectiveness, and outcomes in the context of each client's objectives.
- Develop practical ways to define social success, including performance benchmarks, content and channel comparisons, and reporting that distinguishes meaningful results from platform metrics alone.
- Combine data from native social platforms, social management tools, paid media platforms, and other available sources to identify trends and recommend improvements to content, creative, audience, and channel strategy.
- Create BI dashboards and reports that make performance easy to understand and support planning, optimization, and client discussions.
- Build and maintain automated report generation workflows, including data collection through Supermetrics connectors and appropriate use of Claude and ChatGPT to support reporting, analysis, and drafting. Review outputs for accuracy, data quality, and client relevance before delivery.
- Work with structured marketing data in Snowflake, including querying or reviewing datasets, supporting data preparation, and collaborating with technical partners to resolve reporting issues.
- Monitor data quality, investigate discrepancies across sources, and document metric definitions, reporting logic, and known limitations.
- Translate client goals into measurement frameworks, KPIs, and analysis plans for organic social, paid media, and broader marketing programs.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders with different levels of analytics expertise.
- Manage recurring deliverables and ad hoc requests across multiple clients and internal teams while meeting deadlines.
- Support analytics implementations and data operations, including ETL/ELT processes, tracking requirements, UTM parameters, tag management, quality assurance, and technical documentation.
- Stay current on changes to social platforms, measurement practices, and reporting tools, and contribute to team points of view and recommendations.
About You
- You have 3–4 years of experience in digital or marketing analytics, preferably in an agency or consulting environment.
- You have hands-on experience analyzing organic social programs and can explain how content and channel performance contribute to broader marketing goals.
- You are proficient with data visualization and BI tools such as Looker Studio and Power BI.
- You are familiar with working in Snowflake and comfortable using SQL to explore, validate, or prepare structured data.
- You have experience improving recurring reporting through connectors, data preparation, templates, or other automation workflows. Familiarity with Supermetrics is preferred.
- You can use Claude and ChatGPT thoughtfully to improve reporting efficiency while applying sound judgment, protecting client information, and checking the accuracy of all outputs.
- You understand digital media measurement across paid social, search, display, programmatic, and other channels. Experience with Campaign Manager 360 is preferred.
- You can turn complex data into concise observations, explain likely drivers, and recommend specific next steps.
- You are organized, responsive, and able to prioritize work for multiple stakeholders and clients.
- Bonus: Technical competencies in client-side and server-side data collection, tag management solutions, and governance across data systems. Preferred experience with Google Tag Manager or Tealium.
- Proficiency with data scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, etc.).
