About the role:
The Content Strategist partners with campaign teams to develop, execute, and optimize content strategies that support Insight's marketing objectives. This role combines strategic planning, content development, and cross-functional collaboration to create audience-focused content experiences that drive engagement, support demand generation, and strengthen Insight's position in the market.
Working closely with campaign managers, portfolio marketing, subject matter experts, and creative teams, the Content Strategist develops messaging frameworks, content plans, thought leadership initiatives, and buyer journey-aligned content that supports campaign goals across multiple channels. The role is responsible for translating complex business and technology topics into clear, compelling narratives and ensuring content is aligned to audience needs, business objectives, and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute content strategies that support campaign and business objectives.
- Partner with campaign managers and stakeholders to create messaging frameworks, content plans, and audience-focused narratives.
- Build and manage integrated content journeys that support all stages of the buyer lifecycle.
- Create and edit a variety of content assets, including articles, blogs, ebooks, web content, email, social media, and event-related materials.
- Lead content brief development and provide strategic direction for internal and external content contributors.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex concepts into engaging, customer-centric stories and resources.
- Support thought leadership initiatives by identifying POV opportunities, researching market trends, and developing strategic content recommendations.
- Analyze content performance and apply insights to optimize future content and campaign strategies.
- Ensure content maintains consistency across channels, aligns to campaign goals, and reflects Insight's brand and messaging standards.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in content marketing, content strategy, campaign marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple content formats.
- Experience developing content plans, content calendars, messaging frameworks, or campaign strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Experience working with content performance metrics and using insights to inform recommendations.
- Curiosity about technology, business trends, and emerging market opportunities.
- AI literacy, including comfort using AI tools to accelerate content development and the judgment to direct, steer, and edit AI-generated output rather than publish it as-is.
