2. Product Management – Lead organizational product management initiatives focused on understanding business information needs, prioritizing solutions, and driving strategic alignment between IT capabilities and business requirements. This includes conducting discovery to identify organizational information needs and coaching stakeholders on technology enablement.
3. Stakeholder and Resource Management – Drive effective stakeholder engagement plans and ensure the successful allocation and management of project resources.

5. IT-to-IS Transformation Leadership – Drive the evolution of the PMO function from a technology-delivery focus to a business-aligned, service-oriented model, positioning the department as a strategic Information Services (IS) partner to the organization.
Additional Duties
1. Lead and manage PMO and Product Management team performance, including direct supervision, coaching, and professional development.
2. Conduct project assurance reviews and support independent audits to ensure alignment with organizational information needs and strategic priorities.
3. Lead development of business cases for major projects and ensure appropriate evaluation of benefits realization.
4. Oversee project scope definition processes, working collaboratively with stakeholders.
5. Create and maintain organizational tools such as idea generation platforms and innovation forums.
6. Ensure integration and cohesion between offshore, remote, and in-house PMO and Product Management teams.
7. Remain up to date with industry trends, best practices, and compliance standards related to project delivery and software quality.
8. Support the organizations data protection and privacy efforts in product governance and information management procedures.
9. Promote organizational values and cross-functional collaboration.
10. Represent the organization at external meetings and professional development events as needed.
11. Champion the organizations transition from a technology-delivery (IT) model to a business-aligned Information Services (IS) model, embedding service management and customer-experience principles into current IT practices.
12. Partner with IT leadership to redesign intake, demand management, and prioritization processes around business value and service outcomes rather than technical output alone.
13. Lead IT change management and communication efforts to build organizational and IT staff understanding of, and buy-in for, the shift to a service-partner model.
14. Lead the transition to artificial intelligence as a central component of how the PMO and requirements gathering functions get work done, embedding AI tools and AI-assisted workflows into daily project management, product management, and business analysis practices.
15. Convert the department to a new software development lifecycle that deeply embeds AI in our processes, defining its practices and standards, and guiding teams through training and adoption.
