Your Impact
The Lead Site Reliability Engineer leads the reliable delivery and operation of OpenText solutions, including xECM, Teamsite , OTMM and related platforms. The role combines hands-on SRE and cloud engineering with AI-assisted development, agentic automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, deployment, administration, troubleshooting, and technical leadership.
The engineer will work across the application lifecycle—from design and provisioning through testing, migration, upgrades, patching, operations, and decommissioning—and will use AI and automation to improve engineering productivity, delivery speed, quality, and service reliability.
What the role offers:
Work within an OpenText technical delivery team in order to:
- Lead the technical design, deployment, administration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of OpenText solutions across on-premises and public-cloud environments.
- Apply GitHub Copilot and other approved AI-assisted engineering tools for code generation, refactoring, test creation, documentation, and operational automation.
- Design and develop agentic AI solutions and workflows that automate repeatable engineering, deployment, support, and reliability tasks with appropriate controls.
- Build and maintain reusable GitLab CI/CD pipelines and shared libraries for automated build, test, security validation, deployment, approvals, rollback, and release management.
- Design, deploy, and operate containerized applications on Kubernetes using Helm, including cluster configuration, workload management, scaling, upgrades, security controls, observability, and troubleshooting; automate supporting cloud infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible across Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure.
- Drive observability, incident and problem management, root-cause analysis, reliability improvements, upgrades, and patching; participate in on-call and planned weekend activities when required.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Tools, and Operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
