About this role

The Role

We are looking for a commercially focused Product Sales Manager to grow our aftermarket reciprocating compressor business across the Middle East. Based in Saudi Arabia, you will promote the products, revamp solutions and capabilities of our CPI and Howden Thomassen Compressor businesses, building trusted relationships with key customer decision-makers and positioning the organisation for upcoming opportunities.

Working with customers from initial consultation through technical and commercial proposals, production, delivery, installation and after-sales support, you will coordinate expertise across our CPI UK and HTC Rheden facilities, regional Howden offices and the wider Baker Hughes organisation.

This is an opportunity to shape the regional sales strategy, develop a strong and sustainable opportunity pipeline, and deliver long-term profitable growth in an important market.

About Us

Chart Industries is a leading global manufacturer of highly engineered equipment serving clean energy and industrial gas applications. Recognised for its innovative edge and broad portfolio, Chart holds leadership positions across process technologies supporting hydrogen, carbon capture, energy recovery, nuclear, water treatment, mining and LNG.

In 2023, Chart acquired Howden, a global engineering business with a heritage dating back to 1854. Howden provides mission-critical air and gas handling products, including highly engineered compressors, blowers, fans, steam turbines and rotary heat exchangers.

Together, Chart and Howden are expanding solutions across the Nexus of Clean™: clean power, clean water, clean food and clean industrials. We help customers improve efficiency, decarbonise operations and address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

In July 2026, Chart Industries became part of Baker Hughes, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our business. We are currently progressing through the integration, bringing together complementary technologies, capabilities and expertise across energy and industrial markets. This creates a unique opportunity to join the organisation during a significant period of transformation and support the delivery of greater value for our customers.

What Will You Do?

- Proactively promote Team Recip products, revamp solutions and capabilities across the Middle East, building awareness and positioning CPI and Howden for future opportunities.

- Establish, maintain and manage strong relationships with key customer decision-makers, ensuring customer needs are understood and met throughout the full sales and delivery lifecycle.

- Work with the Aftermarket Sales Director to develop a compelling regional vision and strategic plan for sustainable, long-term profitable growth.

- Develop a robust pipeline, embed effective funnel management and provide clear customer, market, competitive and voice-of-customer insights.

- Contribute to annual operating plans for order intake and margins, while maintaining close alignment between CPI and HTC manufacturing facilities and regional Howden offices.

- Collaborate with Marketing, Global Product Leadership and the wider Baker Hughes team, sharing market trends and identifying opportunities for new products, solutions and services.

What Will You Need?

An ideal candidate would likely have the following experience…

- A proven track record in aftermarket reciprocating compressor products and services, or comparable rotating equipment.

- A strong understanding of reciprocating compressors and the ability to interpret technical data, drawings and customer requirements.

- Commercial acumen and experience developing customer relationships, opportunity pipelines and profitable growth within the Middle East.

- Strong analytical capability, with a willingness to develop further knowledge of application engineering concepts.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English; Arabic language capability would be advantageous.

- The ability to work effectively across cross-functional, international teams and balance the needs of customers, manufacturing sites and regional stakeholders.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the flexibility to travel and adapt to evolving business requirements.

- Current residence in, or the ability to be based in, Saudi Arabia.

We’ve put together some criteria that we think are important for this role, but don’t worry if your experience and expertise are not an exact match. If you feel you can add value to this opportunity and to Howden more broadly, we would welcome your application and be eager to learn more about you.

Our Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive package and the local benefits applicable to their employing country. This role offers the opportunity to work across a major regional market, collaborate with international engineering and manufacturing teams, and contribute to the next stage of growth and integration within Baker Hughes.

Our intention in recruitment, selection and promotion is to appoint the most suitable candidate for each role, regardless of race, religious belief, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, age or disability.
