IT Data & Analytics Manager

Position purpose:

The Data & Analytics Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the analytical data foundation that enables reliable market reporting, analytics, and business applications.

The role consumes governed enterprise data assets, including the Global Analytics Model (GAM) and Central Data Lake Platform (CDLP), and integrates them with local market systems and external data sources. It designs and operates scalable ETL/ELT processes, transformation logic, and data pipelines, and develops enterprise-grade Power BI semantic models with reusable business logic, measures, and security.

Working closely with market stakeholders and D&A team , the role ensures that global and local data assets are reconciled, documented, performant, and fit for business use. It also provides technical guidance, supports complex analytical investigations, and acts as the primary escalation point for analytical data and semantic-model issues in the market.

What will you do – responsibilities:

Data Integration & Engineering :

• Integrate data from global and local sources, including GAM, CDLP, market systems, and external providers
• Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and transformation logic
• Optimize data ingestion, orchestration, refresh performance, monitoring, and recoverability

Power BI Semantic Modeling:

• Design and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI semantic models and reusable datasets
• Build scalable star schemas, relationships, hierarchies, measures, and business logic using DAX and Power Query
• Optimize model size, query performance, refresh behavior, usability, and maintainability

Data Quality & Governance:

• Ensure consistency and traceability between global and local data assets
• Define automated validation, reconciliation, monitoring, and exception-management controls
• Maintain metadata, lineage, data dictionaries, technical documentation, and governance evidence

Technical Advisory & Stakeholder Support :

• Provide technical guidance to market business functions and analytics users
• Translate complex analytical use cases into sound data and semantic-model solutions
• Support data investigations and act as the primary escalation point for analytical data and model issues

Security, Standards & Lifecycle Management:

• Apply access controls, row-level security, privacy, governance, and enterprise architecture standards
• Manage testing, deployment, change control, versioning, and lifecycle activities for pipelines and semantic models
• Promote reusable engineering patterns and continuous improvement

Who are we looking for – requirements :

- Any o f these options:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• Master’s degree in Data Science, Applied Math or a related technical discipline

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, business intelligence, data warehousing, or analytical data-model development

- Proven experience integrating enterprise and local data sources and developing production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines

- Advanced experience designing scalable Power BI semantic models, including star schemas, reusable datasets, measures, calculation logic, and row-level security

- Strong experience with SQL, DAX, Power Query (M), data-lake architectures, and performance optimization

- Practical experience with Azure Data Services or Microsoft Fabric and Databricks

- Experience implementing data-quality controls, reconciliation processes, metadata, lineage, and technical documentation

- Experience troubleshooting complex data and model issues and working with cross-functional enterprise and market teams

- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Python is an advantage.

Annual Base Salary: Eur Eur 66 300 – 78 800 gross/year
