Help secure reliable operations today — and support the transition into LEO Pharma’s future production setup.

At LEO Pharma, we go beyond the skin to make a lasting difference for people living with skin diseases. Behind that mission is a strong technical foundation, and in this role, you will help ensure that foundation is reliable, compliant and future-ready.

Join LEO Pharma in Ballerup and take on a key technical role at an exciting time of change. As Maintenance Support Professional, you will help keep critical technical installations running, support compliance-based maintenance, and contribute to the proper and structured close-down of the old factory as we prepare for a new innovative production facility to fully take over.

Your role

You will provide technical support for the planning, implementation and development of maintenance across utilities, technical installations, plants and production equipment at Site Ballerup. You will act as a technical problem-solver, resolve technical issues in daily operations while also supporting larger transformation activities related to the factory transition.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Supporting day-to-day operation and availability of both the old and newest state of the art technical installations and equipment.

- Acting as troubleshooter on ad hoc technical assignments, breakdowns and operational challenges.

- Ensuring maintenance documentation is maintained, optimized and aligned with LEO Pharma policies and GxP requirements.

- Creating, Reviewing and technically approving documents in QMS in close collaboration with stakeholders.

- Supporting the structured close-down of the old factory and contributing to a smooth transition towards the new facility.

You will also be responsible for GxP documentation from the section, including documentation in CMMS and QMS. In addition, you will support timely follow-up on deviations, corrective actions, action items and CAPAs, and act as technical SME in root cause analysis related to deviation handling. You may also participate in relevant CAPEX projects as participant or package owner and lead smaller OPEX projects.

Your qualifications

We imagine that you bring solid technical expertise, good documentation discipline and experience from a regulated environment. You are used to working across functions and can communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders at different levels of the organisation.

We are looking for someone with:

- An educational background as an engineer, marine engineer, process technician or equivalent.

- 5+ years’ experience with maintenance of utilities, technical installations, plants or production equipment.

- Hands-on experience with deviation handling, root cause analysis, CAPAs or similar processes.

- Knowledge of GxP, technical documentation and regulated quality processes.

- Experience with CMMS systems such as PEMAC and quality systems such as Veeva Quality is an advantage.

- Experience with RCM (reliability centred maintenance) is an advantage.

As a person, you are proactive, structured and solution-oriented. You enjoy troubleshooting, can manage several tasks at the same time, and are motivated by collaborating across departments to find practical and compliant solutions. You communicate with confidence, build trust with stakeholders and contribute to a positive, LEAN-oriented culture. Working with an optimisation perspective and a focus towards improvements.

Your new team

You will join Maintenance Support at Site Ballerup. We are a team that plays an important role in securing stable technical operations and compliant maintenance. We work closely with Operational Maintenance, Engineering, production areas and laboratories, and we support both daily operations and strategic site changes. Together, we are helping LEO Pharma close one chapter in a responsible way while preparing for the next generation of innovative production.
