Job Profile Summary

The Systems Engineer- End User Services (L1) is an entry level subject matter expert, responsible for learning the skills to work closely with the TS Systems Integration team to action configurations, installations and attend to break/fix events that are deemed less complex in nature.

This role works towards associate level certification, whilst at the same time developing business knowledge to action configurations, installations and attend to break/fix events that are deemed less complex in nature.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Learns the ability to start 'owning' portions of an installation, break/fix incidents, and problem management during project lifecycle.
- Functions jointly with the Implementation Engineering team to meet client requirements.
- Action less complex configurations and installations.
- Attend to less complex break/fix events during project lifecycle.
- Provides support and work alongside with Senior Associate/L2 and other senior support engineers.
- Performs any other related task as required.

Knowledge and Attributes:

- Relevant proficiency in following Microsoft technologies - Active Directory, M365, O365, Exchange, Exchange Online, SCCM, Intune, Teams, Azure, Windows Server (all), Windows Desktop (all)
- Basic understanding and appreciation of technical design principles.
- Ability to develop an understanding of fundamental project and administration processes.
- Display a strong learning orientation.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate client service orientation.
- Hands-on proactive in approach.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as - Microsoft Certified Professional; Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-100, MS-101); Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified - Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-100, MD-101); Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Training & Certification (AZ-900); Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate - Server 2016.

Required experience:

- 1-3 years experience in technical implementation engineering, specific to End-User Computing.
