About this role
As a Junior Onboarding Executive, you’ll help new clients get their properties ready to go live on booking platforms. You’ll guide hosts through the onboarding process, collect and check property information, set up accounts and work with internal teams to make sure each property is ready to welcome guests.
You’ll be supported by the wider team as you learn our systems and processes, develop your client management skills and take on more responsibility.
The role involves a mix of remote communication and face-to-face meetings with clients in London, so you’ll need to be comfortable speaking with people and managing practical tasks both independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for:
Client Onboarding and Communication
- Guide new clients through the onboarding process, explaining what is needed at each stage.
- Build positive relationships with hosts and keep them updated on progress.
- Follow up with clients to collect missing information, documents and property details.
- Help resolve initial questions and concerns, involving the relevant team members when needed.
- Ensure a smooth handover to the Customer Success team once a property is live.
Property Setup and Quality Checks
- Collect and accurately record property information, amenities, appliances and service requirements.
- Help create detailed property inventories and check that information is complete and accurate.
- Identify issues that could delay a property going live and work with the relevant teams to resolve them.
- Assist with setting up property accounts and listings across Houst’s systems and booking channels.
- Help coordinate practical requirements such as maintenance, photography and furnishing support.
Teamwork and Organisation
- Work closely with Sales, Operations and Customer Success to keep onboarding moving.
- Manage several properties at different stages of onboarding, keeping track of outstanding tasks and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records and follow established processes.
- Look for ways to improve the client experience and make onboarding more efficient.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, administrative, property or coordination role would be useful, but is not essential.
- We’re interested in people who can demonstrate the right attitude, organisation and willingness to learn, rather than a long list of qualifications.
- A good knowledge of London and the ability to travel to properties for face-to-face meetings are important.
- A people person: You enjoy speaking with people, building relationships and helping clients through a process.
- Organised and detail-oriented: You keep track of tasks, follow up when needed and take pride in getting the details right.
- Proactive: You don’t wait for someone else to chase every task. You take ownership, ask questions and follow things through.
- A clear communicator: You can explain information simply, write professional messages and handle conversations confidently.
- Practical and solutions-focused: You can spot problems, work out the next steps and know when to ask for help.
- Comfortable with technology: You’re happy learning new systems and using digital tools to manage information.
- Adaptable: You can manage changing priorities and stay organised in a busy environment.
- A team player: You work well with others but can also manage your own workload.
- Interested in property and hospitality: You’re curious about short-term rentals, travel or property management and keen to learn more.
