2026 is an important year for Hatstore. Following our first international store opening, we’re taking the next step in our retail expansion and opening a new store in Helsinki .

Since launching in 2011, we’ve grown into one of Northern Europe’s leading e-commerce retailers in caps and headwear. We’re continuing to develop Hatstore as a brand and a meeting place beyond the digital world. With our Helsinki store, we want to create an inspiring destination for caps, fashion and an outstanding customer experience.

For this exciting new chapter, we’re looking for an entrepreneurial, driven and hands-on Store Manager who wants to join us from the beginning and build our presence in Helsinki.

Hatstore was founded on a genuine passion for caps, creativity and innovation – and that’s still what drives us forward.

Today, we have more than 100 employees and sell to customers in 55 countries. Our range includes tens of thousands of caps, beanies and hats, including the option to create custom designs.

Our international retail initiative is an important part of Hatstore’s continued growth. We’re now looking for someone who wants to help make Helsinki an important part of our international store expansion.

Your role as Store Manager

As Store Manager of our new Helsinki store, you’ll play a central role in establishing and developing Hatstore in the Finnish market.

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store, building and leading your team, and ensuring our customers have an experience that reflects the Hatstore brand.

At the same time, you’ll work closely with our headquarters in Sweden and act as an important link between the local operation and our international team.

This is an opportunity to join us from the start, influence how we work and lay the foundations for future Hatstore stores in other markets.

Your responsibilities

Store launch & development
Contribute to the planning, launch and development of our new store in Helsinki.

Leadership & team
Recruit, onboard, develop and motivate the store team, while building a strong team culture.

Sales & customer experience
Ensure a high level of service, create an inspiring store environment and actively work towards the store’s sales targets.

Store operations & stock flow
Be responsible for day-to-day operations, inventory, stock flow, stocktakes and orders.

Building the brand locally
Help build Hatstore’s local brand through social media, partnerships, events and other creative initiatives.

Budget & performance follow-up
Manage the store’s budget and key performance indicators, and monitor and report results to our headquarters in Sweden.

We think you

- Have retail experience, for example as a Store Manager, team leader or in a similar role
- Are a natural leader who enjoys developing people and building teams
- Have a strong customer focus and understand what creates a great in-store experience
- Are entrepreneurial, solution-oriented and comfortable taking responsibility
- Enjoy working hands-on and are ready to roll up your sleeves when needed
- Have a good understanding of retail and the local market in Helsinki
- Are comfortable with social media and enjoy creating content and building a brand
- Are proficient in English, as you’ll work closely with our headquarters in Sweden
- Are proficient in Finnish and ideally Swedish too
- Have a genuine interest in caps, fashion, sports and streetwear

You’re also someone who gets things done. You’re sociable, down-to-earth and confident in your leadership. You enjoy meeting people and building relationships, while being clear and direct when needed.

An interest in American sports is an advantage, as a large part of our range is connected to MLB, NBA, NHL and NFL.
