# Job Description Summary
The Opportunity:
If you're energized by the idea of bringing structure to complexity — and by the knowledge that the projects, you support are helping power a cleaner world — this role is for you.
As a Internal Project Manager & Risk Manager within GE Vernova's North America Grid Solutions Integration (NAM GSI) Behind the Meter (BTM) portfolio, play a key role in driving execution discipline and operational efficiency across complex energy infrastructure projects. You'll work closely with Senior Project Managers/Project Directors, giving them the freedom to lead customer relationships while you'll strengthen internal project execution through cross-functional coordination, proactive risk management, process standardization, and continuous improvement. You'll also champion the adoption of digital and AI-driven solutions to simplify processes, enhance project visibility, and improve execution performance.
This is an opportunity to combine your project management expertise, analytical mindset, and Lean approach to make a tangible impact on project performance, grid reliability, and the future of energy.
Job Description
What You'll Do:
Execution & Internal Coordination
- Coordinate cross-functional activities across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, logistics, and site teams to ensure alignment with approved project execution plans.
- Track action items, deliverables, and commitments — flagging deviations early, driving resolution of execution issues and ensuring timely closure.
- Support preparation and facilitation of internal project reviews, readiness reviews, and execution meetings.
Risk & Opportunity Management
- Lead and coordinate the risk and opportunity management process across an assigned group of projects, facilitating structured assessment sessions with Senior Project Managers, Project Directors, Project Controllers and cross-functional teams.
- Own the accuracy, completeness, and timely updates of Risk & Opportunity Registers, ensuring traceability and alignment with company risk management standards.
- Consolidate project-level risk data to deliver a clear sub-portfolio view of exposure, trends, and potential financial and schedule impacts.
- Monitor mitigation and opportunity realization actions, ensuring clear ownership and follow-up; escalate emerging or significant risks to project/portfolio leadership.
- Prepare and maintain risk dashboards and summaries to support leadership decisions and portfolio reviews.
Financial & Commercial Support
- Support budget tracking, commitments, and actuals in coordination with the Project Controller.
- Assist with Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews, internal financial reporting, and change management documentation — without owning customer negotiations.
Process Improvement & Digital Innovation
- Champion the adoption of AI and digital tools in project management, identifying opportunities to automate routine activities, enhance risk analysis, and improve reporting efficiency.
- Drive lessons learned, best practices, process adherence, continuous improvement, and standardization initiatives across the portfolio.
Stakeholder Interface
- Serve as a key internal coordination point between project teams and factories for manufacturing follow-up, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) readiness, and delivery coordination.
- Participate in customer-facing meetings only when delegated, in a supporting capacity.

You bring both analytical precision and strong collaboration skills — and you know that great project outcomes are built on shared accountability and clear communication.
