JOB SUMMARY : The Warehouse Associate / Technician is primarily responsible for safely loading and unloading truck containers with forklifts and/or pallet jacks; stocking, picking, packing, and verifying shipment counts and serial numbers.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organizational policies and procedures. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

· Collaborate cross functionally to safely execute essential job duties in warehouse operations and other assignments.?

· Follow company OSHA and Safety guidelines and other regulatory State and Federal standards as it relates to the position.

· Safely load and unload incoming / outgoing shipments from trucks with forklift and other equipment.

· Product stocking and shelving.

· Pallet maintenance.

· Picking/packing/staging orders.

· Review and verify orders.

· Identify discrepancies and inform appropriate team members of said issues, errors and/or back orders.

· Overall organization, safety, and cleanliness of warehouse areas.

· Maintain proper paperwork including, but not limited to, customer orders, pull sheets, informational/warranty documents as applicable.

· Maintain tools to complete necessary tasks.

· Keep logistics informed of the status of orders as applicable.

· Assist with inventory maintenance tasks as requested (I.E., cycle counts, physical inventories, etc.)

· Work overtime as needed.

· Other duties as assigned.

· Must abide by Company safety policies and participate in Safety Training as required.

· Must have working knowledge of tools, cutting equipment, common appliances, and devices.

· Must have manual dexterity, be in good physical condition and have good strength and balance for safety.

· Must have recent standard forklift experience and must successfully complete Merits s Forklift Driver Training & Safety Course / Certification within the first 30 days of hire date or position acceptance.

· Must have good customer service skills and must be team-oriented.

· Must have good problem-solving and organizational skills.

· Must have flexibility with work schedule (i.e., be able to work overtime, arrive early, and/or stay late according to business / project needs).

· Must have basic computer proficiencies.

· Must have ERP system competencies, such as NetSuite, Epicor, or similar; or must be ready and willing to learn said systems within a reasonable timeframe if deemed necessary by direct manager or supervisor.

· Must be dependable with an excellent attendance record.

· Must speak, read, and write English and have effective communication skills.

· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Educational Requirements : A high school diploma with two to four (2-4) years of relevant warehouse experience; or an equivalent combination of closely related experience, education, and/or training.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb/climb ladders, or balance; use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is required to safely lift or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.??

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job in a warehouse and/or manufacturing operations atmosphere, the employee will need to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise levels in these work environments can be moderate to loud; ambient climate temperatures to occasionally humid and hot (depending on season), dry, dusty to moderately clean. Employees may need to wear and/or use safety equipment / PPE which will be provided by the company.??
