About this role

Build and Lead Northern California's Next Growth Market

You’ve led sales teams, coached people through their successes and struggles, and built relationships that last. Now you can put that leadership to work in a territory with real room to grow!

As Regional Manager, you’ll lead Advance Funeral Planners (AFPs) and partner with funeral home owners across Northern California. Your territory spans Daly City, the South Bay, the East Bay, the Monterey Bay area, and out to the San Joaquin Valley.

Our premier funeral home partners here are ready for your fresh energy. You’ll help revitalize relationships, build up your team, and unlock the growth within reach. Your coaching and relationship skills matter more than any industry résumé, and you’ll have the support and autonomy to run your region.

What You’ll Do (and Why You’ll Love Doing It)

Mentor, motivate and coach a high-producing AFP team

- You'll lead 10 to 15 AFPs with a varied skill set who serve diverse communities. Ride-alongs show you how to coach a top performer differently from a newer AFP, which builds the people-development skills every senior leader needs. You’ll love watching your people gain confidence and production, knowing you helped build it!

Win over funeral home owners

- Relationships are the heart of this role. Every owner is different, so you’ll learn to read what each one values and adapt your approach. You’ll sharpen your emotional intelligence, negotiation, and long-term relationship management. The trust you earn becomes the strongest asset in your territory and in your career.

Drive results in the field

- You’ll lead consumer presentations, promote local lead generation, and use reporting to spot where production can climb. Selling alongside your team keeps your own skills sharp, and working from the outcomes builds the business judgment to turn data into decisions that grow a territory.

Grow alongside a collaborative West Coast Team

- You’ll be based in the Bay Area and in local funeral homes regularly, with most nights at home and roughly one week a month on the road. Your leaders will coach you on the funeral industry itself, so your leadership experience is what gets you started. As the territory expands, so do your scope and impact.

Your coaching has built other people’s teams. Ready to build your own?

- An independent, entrepreneurial, coachable problem solver who brings ideas, not just questions.
- A current life insurance license or willingness to obtain one, Bay Area residency, and comfort with regular travel.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Spanish fluency is a bonus.
