About this role
VP of Product (Onsite) - Plano, TX
Welcome to Ziosk , where we empower restaurants to focus on what matters most: the guest experience!
Have you ever used a tablet to pay at a restaurant? We pioneered the pay-at-the-table concept and we’re cooking up a plan to transform the restaurant industry. Our recipe for success has been adapting and growing to exceed the needs of our clients, such as Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse, Chili’s and more – helping them create an experience that keeps guests coming back. Today we have a full menu of solutions, from hardware to software to cloud-based and AI driven products, all focused on helping them create the best guest experience possible to grow their bottom line.
Our secret sauce? Our people! Every day, they’re cooking up bold solutions, making Ziosk the leading pay-at-the-table provider in the industry.
Want a seat at our table?
Ziosk is looking for a highly experienced VP of Product with extensive experience leading multi-product teams. Reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer, you will run our product organization day to day, turning business signal into one clear, current roadmap. You will lead a team of Product Managers across our full menu of solutions and give them the structure, coaching, and decisions they need to deliver.
The Main Course – Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Product Managers, each the single point of contact for a product area, setting a high bar for product thinking and clear paths for growth.
- Own the path from intake to launch, so every request is captured, routed, and answered with a clear decision.
- Run the monthly roadmap cadence: gather signal from each Product Manager, decide what needs cross-product prioritization, and keep one roadmap current.
- Make day-to-day prioritization calls, keeping the roadmap aligned with company strategy and explaining the tradeoffs behind each decision.
- Build the operating rhythm and tooling, including Jira, Confluence, templates, and triage criteria, that help Product Managers raise the right issues at the right time.
- Partner with leaders across Engineering, Sales, and Support to turn customer and market input into committed work.
- Keep executive leadership informed on what is shipping, what is next, and why, and connect the roadmap to Ziosk’s commercialization efforts.
What You Bring To The Table – Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 10 or more years of product management experience, including leading five or more Product Managers, directly or indirectly, through a recurring roadmap and prioritization cadence.
- A track record of coaching Product Managers and raising the quality of their work.
- Skill at balancing a stable roadmap with a structured intake process for new requests, and at telling planned work from ad hoc reprioritization.
- Hands-on command of Jira and Confluence structure (projects, components, labels, spaces), beyond everyday use.
- Strong executive communication, with the judgment to decide what to escalate and the ability to say no with clear reasons.
- Experience in restaurant technology, hospitality technology, or a comparable multi-stakeholder B2B2C environment.
Ziosk is an Equal Opportunity employer offering competitive benefits and compensation. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. and be able to commute daily to Plano, TX. No agencies or third-party recruiters, please.
