Hourly Pay Range:
$27.14 - $40.71 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Exercise Physiologist – Cardiac Diagnostics
Position Highlights:
- Position: Exercise Physiologist – Cardiac Diagnostics
- Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights
- Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 40 hours per week
- Hours: Day Shift, 7:30 am-4:00 pm
- On-Call: Rotating weekend call (1-2 times per month)
- Required Travel: Floating to Schaumburg or 1632 location as needed
- Holidays: No
What you will do:
- Assist with cardiac stress testing, including patient preparation, exercise monitoring and assessment of patient responses.
- Monitor vital signs, symptoms and patient tolerance during cardiac diagnostic testing, communicating changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide safe patient care and maintain accurate documentation of testing procedures.
What you will need:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology required. Master's degree preferred.
- Certification: Current American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification required. ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
- Experience: 1 year of experience as Exercise Physiologist or previous internship highly preferred
