POSITION SUMMARY
As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, this position will be responsible for ensuring our buses adhere and comply with our Internal Quality Control System.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
· Responsible for identifying quality and process gaps and non-conformance issues.
· In-process inspection of production, fabricated and purchased materials.
· Final inspection of buses for delivery, investigate and communicate internally and externally on non-conformance issues and find resolutions to issues.
Requirements
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
· Ability to read blueprints and use a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments.
· Experience understanding and applying quality systems to drive and sustain improvements.
· Have great interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Clear understanding of the bill of materials as it relates to product completion.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word.
· Previous experience working with Oracle database system would be considered an asset.
· NDT certification would be considered an asset.
· Ability to work rotating shifts.
