About this role
Instruct preschool gymnastics classes while fostering skill development, confidence, and a positive learning experience. Attend required coaching education, training, and professional development opportunities as directed by the supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach all assigned classes as directed by the Supervisor or Gymnastics Director.
- Follow lesson plans and curriculum guidelines provided by the Preschool Coordinator or Gymnastics Director.
- Maintain positive, professional, and effective communication with students and parents.
- Attend and actively participate in required staff meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions.
- Accurately record attendance and maintain current class rosters.
- Foster a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment that promotes skill development and student success.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Highly energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with young children and their parents/caregivers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Ability to create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment.
- Previous gymnastics experience or experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow instruction, accept feedback, and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
