About the Role
The Innovation Operations team sits at the intersection of experimentation and scale — translating new ideas into reliable, operational workflows. We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager who can own operational execution of innovation pilots and new product experiences, from intake through launch, while also getting hands-on to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize the backend environments that make those experiments real.

You will lead cross-functional projects that test and shape the future of how we launch new experiences and formats, and ensure the technical foundation, from setup to backend tooling, is ready to support that future.

This role blends strategic project execution with hands-on technical work.

Responsibilities

Technical Project Ownership

- Own global operational execution for tests and new product experiences, from intake through launch
- Lead cross-functional innovation pilots, partnering with Product, Engineering, Creative and Operations to scope, test, and scale new product workflows
- Translate abstract or early-stage ideas into structured, executable project plans
- Design repeatable workflows and operating models for new experiences
- Drive operational handoff by coordinating with regional hubs and teams to support the transition from testing to productization and scaled operations
- Define success criteria and readiness standards so successful experiences can scale into stable, repeatable workflows

Technical Setup & Workflow Readiness

- Set up and maintain backend testing environments
- Ensure test environments and workflows can support new and non-standard experiences, and work with engineering to flag compatibility issues across tooling, delivery, and downstream workflows.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support testing and validation of new product and tech capabilities
- Pressure-test workflows before launch to surface gaps in tooling, ownership, and handoffs
- Lead launch readiness and post-launch validation, confirming new experiences work as intended

Problem Solving & Risk Management

- Identify and resolve cross-functional blockers, technical risks, and system dependencies across engineering, ops, and tooling to keep tests on track and protect timelines, scalability, and member experience
- Serve as a technical liaison between engineering and ops, ensuring clarity around scope, ownership, and trade-offs
- Run intake for new tests and requests, prioritizing based on business impact and team capacity

Stakeholder Influence & Communication

- Communicate project status, technical risks, and priorities clearly across cross-functional teams through concise updates, structured memos, and live forums to drive alignment and informed decision-making
- Build trust and influence across engineering, product, and leadership teams by representing Innovation Operations with confidence, clarity, and the ability to advocate effectively in high-stakes or cross-functional settings

Requirements

- 7+ years of technical project or program management experience, ideally in high-growth, cross-functional environments
- Experience managing complex technical workflows and programs with hands-on technical involvement (e.g., QA setups, test configuration, backend environments)
- Proven ability to build structure in ambiguous, 0-to-1 spaces, taking a process from nothing to a scaled, repeatable operation, including defining handoffs to other teams
- Experience owning launch execution and validation, including readiness checks, go/no-go decisions, and post-launch follow-up
- Strong prioritization judgment, including how to balance competing requests and manage scope, and the ability to ramp quickly across different product areas
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate workflows or improve operational efficiency
- Ability to distill complexity into clear plans and articulate trade-offs, with a strong eye for edge cases and operational impact of variability across products and workflows
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, from clear memos, proposals, and post-mortems to leading high-stakes conversations and building trust across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Bonus Experience :

- Experience launching new product features or experiences, with exposure to personalization and experimentation
- Experience testing or launching AI-powered features or products
- Experience working across regions or partnering with regional teams to enable local execution
- Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and agile testing of new product experiences
