About this role

As the VP Product Manager for Spectrum Core, you will set the platform's direction and partner with Product Managers, UX Designers, Engineers, and end users across Asset Management to deliver the capabilities both audiences rely on. You will work directly with senior decision-makers and have real influence over how the platform grows.

We are also changing how our product organization works. Our Product Managers and UX Designers increasingly work inside AI-native tools, authoring reusable skills, prompt files, and agents that shape how the whole team delivers. This role sits at the center of that shift. We want someone already fluent in modern AI tooling who will lead by example.

Job responsibilities:

- Set the Vision and Roadmap: Understand Spectrum's capabilities in depth, align them with business goals, and act as the platform's advocate and marketer at the executive level.

- Prioritize Across a Large Community: Anticipate what 1,500+ Developers, Product Managers, and UX Designers, and their end users, will need next. Prioritize against key results, adapt as priorities shift, and keep this broad audience informed.

- Represent the End User: Turn end user and builder needs into clear epics, stories, and requirements that resonate with business and technology partners.

- Run Product Governance: Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the team. Establish governance, own communication channels, lead executive briefings, and deliver training.

- Measure What Matters: Build out product analytics so teams use data to make decisions, show transparency, and track delivery.

- Raise the Platform Bar: Partner with UX Designers and Engineers on platform standards, explore new technologies, and lead change and risk management so the platform stays stable and secure.

- Lead AI-Native Product Work: Author and share reusable skills, prompt files, and agents that change how Product Managers and UX Designers deliver.

- Lead the Extended Team: Guide and mentor the UX Designers, Engineers, and other partners you work with day to day, and model AI-forward ways of working.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, ideally on a platform or shared-service product

- Technical fluency: you work closely with Engineers, understand technical constraints, and do your own analysis, for example, using tools to study data and processes, or judging the technical limits of a particular user experience

- Hands-on use of AI tools in your daily product work, such as building prompts, skills, agents, or automated workflows

- Proven ability to set a product vision and influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams, including those that do not report to you

- Extensive hands-on experience with agile methodologies

- Excellent written and verbal communication, including resolving conflict and driving decisions

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

- Asset Management or financial services experience, or the ability to learn new domains quickly

- Experience with design systems, developer platforms, or internal tools used by many teams

- Experience establishing product analytics
