## Summary
You bring together technical knowledge, business insight, and strong interpersonal skills to help teams solve complex problems. You enjoy learning how a business operates, translating needs into clear requirements, and facilitating solutions that create lasting value. Bring your analytical mindset, adaptability, and relationship-building abilities to us as a Technical Analyst III. You’ll join a project-oriented team supporting BOK Financial’s Wealth Business, while helping shape the future of our data environment.
Job Description
The Technical Analyst III job family is responsible for delivering superior services while acting as a liaison between the line of business and Information Technology. As a member of the Wealth Management Data Integration team, you will work in a consulting-style capacity, partnering with business stakeholders, software developers, and data specialists to understand business processes, gather and document requirements, investigate problems, and facilitate effective technical solutions. Using comprehensive technical and systems knowledge, the Technical Analyst III performs analysis, design, planning, testing, implementation, and ongoing support for critical systems, software, and procedures.
The role manages projects and initiatives with organizational impact while supporting the company’s long-term technology and enterprise data strategy.
This is primarily a project-oriented position rather than a traditional production-support role. Team members frequently manage separate initiatives and individual portfolios, so success requires the ability to work independently, engage new stakeholders, ask thoughtful questions, and move work forward with appropriate guidance. The role will also support existing and legacy data environments as the organization continues its modernization toward technologies such as Snowflake, AWS, and Fivetran.
Team Culture
Our mission is to empower our company, teammates, and customers through the delivery of resilient and customer-centric technology. We achieve this by combining our technology expertise with a deep understanding of the business units we support.
The Wealth Management Data Integration team is a five-person, project-oriented group whose members frequently manage their own portfolios of work. While many assignments are completed independently, larger initiatives may involve multiple teammates and partners across the organization. The team values adaptability, curiosity, continuous learning, open communication, and the ability to build trusted relationships with both business and technical stakeholders.
How You'll Spend Your Time
• You will use approved artificial intelligence and automation tools to improve personal productivity and the efficiency of analysis, research, documentation, requirements development, troubleshooting, testing, and other technical work, while applying appropriate judgment and validating AI-generated output.
• You will partner with Wealth business stakeholders and technical teams to understand business needs, investigate problems, gather requirements, and facilitate practical technology and data solutions.
• You will write clear business, functional, and technical requirements for projects ranging from moderately complex to highly complex.
• You will perform business process mapping and modeling, including documenting current-state and future-state processes, system interactions, data flows, logical models, and data-retention requirements.
• You will analyze, design, plan, test, deploy, and support complex systems, software, programs, and data-integration processes.
• You will manage a portfolio of project-oriented work, independently identifying stakeholders, facilitating fact-finding sessions, asking effective questions, and advancing assigned initiatives.
• You will partner with software developers, data specialists, vendors, and other technology teams to determine appropriate solutions, without necessarily implementing every component of the solution yourself.
• You will support existing Microsoft SQL Server and legacy data environments while contributing to the organization’s evolving enterprise data strategy and adoption of technologies such as Snowflake, AWS, and Fivetran.
• You will perform job-scheduling responsibilities, including writing, reading, maintaining, and troubleshooting job plans.
• You will develop and maintain batch scripts, SQL queries, stored procedures, and technical requirements or specifications.
• You will evaluate systems and processes, conduct fit-gap analyses, identify integration needs, and recommend improvements that align with business and technology objectives.
• You will apply IT governance policies, project architecture methodologies, service-oriented architecture policies, security expectations, and established technology standards.
• You will support system and data integrations across multiple applications, environments, and platforms while helping ensure reliable data movement and processing.
• You will contribute to testing, implementation planning, production readiness, disaster recovery, and enterprise resiliency activities, which may occasionally require evening or weekend participation.
• You will share knowledge and provide guidance to other analysts through project collaboration, technical consultation, and day-to-day support.
• You will remain adaptable as priorities, technologies, and business needs evolve, continuously learning new tools and applying transferable experience to emerging platforms.
