As a Category Manager , you’ll manage a strategic portfolio of expense categories, including supplies, technology, facilities, operating room, pathology, pharmacy, and related services. You’ll develop sourcing strategies, lead supplier negotiations, manage contracts and vendor performance, and help secure high-quality products and services at the best value.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field required
- Five years of experience with contracts, requests for proposals, or requests for bids required
- Health care procurement experience preferred
- Certified Purchasing Manager, Certified Professional in Supply Management, or Certified Materials and Resource Professional certification preferred
**Previous healthcare Request for Proposal/Request for Bids experience highly desired
