Status: Full-Time

Reports To: Commercial Property Manager
Territory: Columbus, Marysville, Delaware & Surrounding Areas

Mason Equity Group is seeking a confident, motivated, and highly organized Commercial Leasing Specialist to join our growing property management team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

While direct commercial leasing experience is preferred, it is not required. We strongly encourage candidates with backgrounds in sales, retail management, customer relations, or other client-facing industries to apply. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, professionalism, and ambition to learn and grow.

This position offers more than an opportunity to lease commercial spaces. We are seeking an individual interested in building a long-term career with the potential to advance into Commercial Property Management, leadership, and beyond, based on performance and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

Leasing & Business Development

- Conduct professional tours of available commercial spaces throughout Columbus, Marysville, Delaware, Johnstown, and surrounding markets.

- Prepare, coordinate, and complete commercial leasing documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Actively market available commercial spaces through online listings, advertising platforms, signage, and other outreach efforts.
- Identify opportunities to generate leasing activity, attract prospective businesses, and reduce vacancies.
- Maintain an organized pipeline of prospective tenants, tours, applications, and leasing activity.

Property Presentation & Marketing

- Ensure commercial plazas, storefronts, and available spaces maintain excellent curb appeal and present professionally to prospective tenants.
- Conduct routine property visits to identify opportunities for improvements, maintenance needs, or marketing enhancements.
- Coordinate with the Commercial Property Manager and maintenance teams to address property presentation concerns.
- Assist with photography, listing updates, marketing materials, and promotional initiatives.

Customer Service & Administrative Excellence

- Deliver exceptional customer service to prospective and existing commercial tenants.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of leasing activity, communications, and documentation.
- Manage competing priorities, appointments, deadlines, and follow-ups with minimal supervision.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with tenants, vendors, internal team members, and prospective businesses.
- Support the Commercial Property Manager with leasing initiatives, reporting, and other operational responsibilities as needed.

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate is someone who exudes confidence, professionalism, and accountability in everything they do. This individual is comfortable initiating conversations, building relationships, and representing our company in a polished and positive manner.

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous commercial leasing experience preferred but not required.
- Experience in sales, retail management, business development, hospitality, or customer service strongly encouraged.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Confident, personable, and comfortable conducting tours and engaging with business professionals.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while remaining accountable to team goals.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accurate documentation and timely follow-through.
- Proficient with computers, email, and general office software; ability to learn property management platforms.
- Flexible and adaptable in a growing, fast-paced organization.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, as regular travel between properties is an essential function of this role.

Compensation & Additional Opportunities

- Annual Salary: $55,000–$65,000, based on experience and qualifications.
- Mileage Reimbursement: Business-related mileage reimbursed in accordance with company policy.
- Company Vehicle Eligibility: Following 90 days of employment, individuals with a satisfactory driving history may be considered for company vehicle privileges. Eligibility does not guarantee vehicle assignment or use.
- Performance Bonuses: Quarterly bonus opportunities may become available following one year of service, or earlier at management's discretion. Bonuses are discretionary and not guaranteed.
- Career Advancement: Opportunities for professional development and advancement into Commercial Property Manager and future leadership positions, based on demonstrated performance, skill development, and organizational needs.

Growth & Career Development

At Mason Equity Group, we believe in developing talent from within. We are looking for someone who wants to take ownership of their role, consistently exceed expectations, and grow alongside our organization.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop expertise in commercial leasing, tenant relations, property operations, and portfolio management while working directly with our Commercial Property Manager. Our goal is to develop a future leader—not simply fill a leasing position.

If you are an ambitious, organized, and professional individual who enjoys working with people, takes initiative, and is excited about the opportunity to grow in commercial real estate, we encourage you to apply.

Join Mason Equity Group and build a career with room to grow.
