About this role

# Job Description Summary
At GE Aerospace, we are advancing the future of flight through innovation, operational excellence, and deep customer partnership. The Chief Financial Officer for GE Aerospace Materials (GEAM) is a critical senior finance leader responsible for the overall financial performance of our Used Serviceable Material (USM) business, including ownership of the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.

This role is both strategic and operational. The GEAM CFO partners closely with the General Manager and cross-functional leadership team to drive profitable growth, evaluate strategic opportunities, strengthen operating performance, and ensure disciplined financial management across the business. The role requires strong commercial acumen, an understanding of aerospace customer and channel dynamics, and the ability to proactively interpret market signals to help the business act with speed and rigor.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of finance leadership, business judgment, thought leadership, and market insight. This person understands the business models and decision drivers of key industry participants — including airlines, MROs, lessors, and brokers — and can translate those insights into actions that improve competitiveness, profitability, and long-term value creation.

In addition, the GEAM CFO will foster a culture of compliance, controllership, accountability, and continuous improvement, while leading and developing a team of finance and accounting professionals.
