## About the role
The GL Associate Accountant supports General Ledger accounting activities by performing routine accounting tasks that contribute to accurate and timely month-end close processes. This role develops Record-to-Report (RtR) process knowledge while ensuring transactional accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
## Key responsibilities
- Prepare and post recurring journal entries.
- Support balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Perform accounting data checks, validations, and account reviews.
- Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support internal and external audit requests.
- Generate standard reports and assist with financial analysis.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues
## Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 0-2 years of accounting experience.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel; SAP experience is a plus.
- English proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
