Companion and Personal Caregiver – Novi

Do you enjoy helping people and making their days a little easier? CareOne Senior Care is hiring compassionate caregivers to assist seniors in Novi, West Bloomfield, and nearby Oakland County communities.
We are looking for individuals who are dependable, patient, and interested in providing quality non-medical in-home care. Our caregivers help clients maintain their routines, receive assistance with daily activities, and enjoy companionship in a familiar environment.
About the Role
Caregivers provide assistance based on each client's individual needs and assigned care plan. Opportunities may include companion care, personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and other everyday support.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
- Help clients participate in appropriate activities and hobbies.
- Assist with daily routines and activities of daily living as assigned.
- Prepare meals and snacks.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization.
- Provide reminders and encouragement as outlined in the care plan.
- Assist with walking and mobility when required and within your training.
- Support client comfort, safety, dignity, and independence.
- Follow client care plans and CareOne Senior Care procedures.
- Report concerns or changes in client needs to the office.
- Maintain professional communication with clients, families, and coworkers.
- Protect client privacy and confidentiality.
Pay and Benefits
- $15–$17 per hour for regular assignments.
- Select specialty assignments paying up to $22.50 per hour.
- Next-day pay options for eligible earnings.
- $150 referral bonus for eligible referrals after 90 days in good standing.
- Mileage reimbursement for approved transportation.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be reliable, patient, and respectful.
- Must be willing to complete required background screening and TB testing.
- Must complete onboarding and required training.
- Must be able to follow instructions and communicate professionally.
- Valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance are required when transportation is part of the assignment.
- Previous caregiving or companion care experience is helpful.
