The impact you’ll make
The RF Electrical Engineer designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic parts, components, and integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, hardware systems, and electrical engineering applications. This role determines design approaches and parameters, analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results. The engineer selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability, and assesses vendor capability to support product development.
## What you’ll do
- You will be primarily responsible for the design/selection, testing, and documentation of RF power delivery systems (100 kHz to 100 MHz; watts to kilowatts).
- You will perform professional electrical engineering research, design, development, modification, and evaluation in support of electrical and electro-mechanical systems and subsystems.
- You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—electrical, mechanical, software, process, and technical support engineers, as well as suppliers—on the design and modification of custom and OEM embedded system components.
- You will prepare and analyze test plans and procedures to ensure that technical and operational requirements are met and properly demonstrated.
- You will collect and analyze pertinent data and materials, and present findings at design, project, and program reviews.

- Familiarity with high-voltage (>1 kV) design rules and practices from DC to 100 MHz.
- Outstanding analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with AI tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to drive functional requirements and execute effectively in a dynamic team environment.
## Preferred qualifications
- Experience with PYTHON, MathCAD or MATLAB, SPICE, and electromagnetic modeling and analysis tools (e.g., HFSS, COMSOL, CST Microwave Studio).
- Experience in, or fundamental knowledge of, plasma processing, plasma sources, and plasma loads.
