Role Summary

The Country Business Head – EP holds full P&L and operational accountability for the Electrical Products business within the country. This leadership role is responsible for driving profitable growth, expanding market share, and shaping the local go-to-market strategy across direct channels, distribution networks, and key accounts. The successful candidate will lead a cross-functional organization (Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Operations) to deliver customer-centric electrification and digital solutions aligned with global Siemens strategies.

Key Responsibilities

A. Strategy & Business Growth

- P&L Ownership: Take total accountability for the country's financial performance, including Orders, Revenue, Gross Margin, and Net Income for the EP portfolio.
- Market Expansion: Formulate and execute the local business strategy to penetrate key segments (industrial, infrastructure, commercial buildings, data centers, and residential).
- Go-to-Market (GTM): Optimize the distribution and partner network (wholesalers, panel builders, system integrators) while driving direct engagement with key end-users, specifiers, and EPCs.

B. Commercial & Operational Leadership

- Portfolio Management: Ensure alignment of local product offerings, software solutions (e.g., Totally Integrated Power, Eco-friendly switchgear, digital energy management tools), and pricing strategies with regional guidelines.
- Sales Excellence: Drive disciplined sales forecasting, pipeline management, and tender governance.
- Operational Execution: Collaborate closely with supply chain, logistics, and regional manufacturing hubs to ensure high product availability, competitive lead times, and top-tier customer service.

C. Leadership & People Management

- Team Development: Build, inspire, and mentor a high-performing, cross-functional team (Sales, Technical Support, Product Marketing).
- Culture & Compliance: Foster a culture of safety, integrity, inclusion, and accountability, strictly adhering to Siemens' Business Conduct Guidelines and compliance standards.

D. Stakeholder & Ecosystem Engagement

- Key Accounts & Partnerships: Act as the executive sponsor for strategic customer relationships, industry associations, and regulatory bodies within the energy and electrification sector.
- Cross-Business Collaboration: Synergize with other Siemens business units (e.g., Digital Industries, Siemens Mobility, Smart Infrastructure divisions like Building Products or Digital Grid) to deliver integrated customer offerings.

Profile & Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. An MBA or postgraduate specialization is a strong plus.
- Experience: 15+ years of professional experience in the electrical, automation, or energy sector, with at least 4–5 years in senior leadership positions managing P&L. Proven track record in managing indirect channels (distribution networks, wholesalers).
- Technical & Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of low-voltage (LV) power distribution, electrical products, smart building trends, and the local regulatory/standards landscape (e.g., NOM, IEC, UL standards).
- Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking combined with a hands-on, results-oriented execution style. Outstanding negotiation, communication, and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
