About this role
Apple's Wallet, Payments, and Commerce (WPC) teams are redefining how people pay, access, and interact with financial services every day. Our work powers experiences like Apple Pay, Apple Cash, and Tap to Pay, along with the connected services that enable commerce at a global scale. We continue to expand Apple Pay and Wallet to new markets, partners, and capabilities, digitizing more of what people carry in their wallets.
We're seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing engineering organization within Wallet, Payments and Commerce. You will be responsible for delivering secure, reliable, and delightful experiences that operate at massive scale in a highly regulated, global environment.
You will set direction for your organization, develop and grow engineering talent, and partner closely with Product, Design, Business, Legal, and Regulatory leaders to turn ambitious ideas into products customers love. You will bring clarity to complex and ambiguous problems, make sound decisions with incomplete information, and hold a high bar for quality, security, and privacy.
At Apple, there's no playbook. Success comes from curiosity, hands-on engagement, and a willingness to tackle challenges from first principles. You'll collaborate across disciplines, communicate complex ideas with clarity, and help define what world-class financial experiences look like at Apple scale.

Demonstrated success partnering with and influencing cross-functional leaders, including Product, Design, and Business stakeholders.
Track record of hiring, developing, and retaining strong engineering talent, including growing future leaders.
Experience setting direction and driving execution across ambiguous, multi-team initiatives.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both executive and engineering audiences.

Experience collaborating with external partners, financial institutions, or payment networks.
Experience building or evolving shared platforms that serve multiple products or business units.
Familiarity with emerging payment standards and technologies shaping the industry's future.
