About this role

Intuit Credit Karma, Consumer Group is looking for a seasoned consumer product leader to join our vertical marketplaces product team as a Principal Product Manager . Our marketplaces are where members shop for financial products: credit cards, personal loans, auto loans, home loans, and insurance. Each is a business in its own right, with its own General Manager, revenue plan, partner ecosystem, and cross-functional team. As Principal PM you will be the product lead for one of these verticals: you own the product strategy, the roadmap, and the revenue outcomes for that marketplace end to end.

This is a senior individual contributor role and the most visible product leadership seat in the vertical. You set the direction that engineering, design, data science, analytics, and business development rally behind, you are the General Manager's product counterpart, and you present the vertical's strategy and results to senior leadership across Credit Karma and Intuit. The role requires a leader who is deeply member-obsessed, has a strong understanding of the fintech marketplace landscape, and knows how to strategically leverage AI to enhance personalization, decision support, and discovery across the member journey.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

- Own the vertical's product strategy. Define and champion a 12 to 18 month product vision for your marketplace, grounded in the member problem and the business plan, that thoughtfully integrates AI. You are the visible owner of where the vertical is headed, not only how it gets there.
- Deliver the revenue plan. Turn the annual operating plan into a stack-ranked roadmap sized by revenue impact, keep revenue-generating work ahead of plan, and own the readout when results land above or below it.
- Drive the product roadmap from conception to launch. Lead the end-to-end lifecycle for offer ranking and personalization, marketplace conversion, partner integrations, and AI-powered shopping and recommendation experiences, prioritized on member need, business impact, and technical feasibility.
- Run a rigorous experimentation program. Keep a steady drumbeat of experiments across the shopping journey and hold the bar on test design, variant definitions, and how results feed ranking models and the roadmap.
- Lead cross-functionally. Partner closely with the vertical's General Manager, Engineering, Design, Data Science/AI, Analytics, Business Development, Marketing, and Legal/Compliance to deliver seamless and compliant member experiences. Set the agenda, surface tradeoffs early, and unblock partners.
- Be the visible leader of the vertical. Act as the voice of the member and the product in core team meetings, business reviews, and end-to-end product reviews. Present the vertical's strategy, performance, and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders across Credit Karma and Intuit.
- Raise the bar for the PMs around you. While this role has no direct reports, you will set the standard for product craft on the vertical team, mentor less experienced PMs, and help the team become more self-sufficient.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

- Experienced product leader: 10+ years of experience in product management on consumer digital products, including leading a product area or business line end to end as its senior PM.
- Consumer fintech and marketplace expert: Deep understanding of the consumer financial technology space, ideally marketplaces where consumers shop for partners' products, and a demonstrated history of strategically leveraging AI/ML capabilities to unlock significant business or member value.
- Owns the number: You have carried a revenue or growth target for a product line and delivered it through a sustained cadence of launches, not one big win.
- Strategic and hands-on: You can write and defend a multi-year strategy and go deep on an experiment readout, a ranking model's inputs, or a design review.
- Experimentation discipline: Hands-on experience with A/B testing, funnel optimization, and personalization, and the judgment to know what the data is and isn't saying.
- Cross-functional operator: You thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and build strong relationships with General Managers, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Business Development, and Legal/Compliance.
- Exceptional communicator: Top-notch communication and presentation skills; you influence and build consensus with senior leadership and diverse audiences, and bring a point of view rather than deferring to the room.

What we'd love to see

- Experience leading product in a credit card, lending, or insurance marketplace, or with external partner integrations in a regulated consumer category.
- Hands-on fluency with AI tools in your own work: research, prototyping, specs, and analysis.
- Experience partnering with Data Science on ranking, propensity, or recommendation models.
- Prior people management experience is welcome but not required.
