Key Job Duties
In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of an Industrial Forklift Operator . Your daily responsibilities will include:
Equipment Operation : Safely operate sit-down industrial forklift to move containers and assist with shipping.
Loading and unloading: Efficiently load and unload containers as needed throughout the facility.
Pre-Shift Inspections: Perform daily OSHA pre-trip safety checks, battery charging/fuel replenishment, and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of recent, verified experience operating sit-down industrial forklifts in a manufacturing, distribution, or agricultural setting.
Certification: Valid OSHA forklift certification preferred (or ability to pass on-site facility and PrideStaff evaluation/certification.
Physical Capability: Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive lifting, and work comfortably in a fast-paced grain processing facility.
Reliability: A strong work ethic with a history of excellent attendance and punctuality for your selected shift.
