Description
PRC is seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Technician for our luxury residential high-rise in Jersey City. We are looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, making repairs and taking pride in keeping a residential property operating and looking its best.
This is a hands-on maintenance position, not a supervisory or live-in role. There is no on-call rotation.

What You’ll Do
- Complete resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshoot and perform hands-on repairs involving basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and drywall
- Perform painting, patching and other general repairs
- Assist with apartment turnovers and make-ready work
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections
- Help maintain common areas and building systems
- Identify issues requiring specialized service and communicate repair needs to management
- Provide courteous, professional service to residents
What We’re Looking For
- At least one year of hands-on residential, apartment or building maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and general repairs
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable performing maintenance and repairs directly , rather than primarily supervising others or coordinating vendors
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and meet the physical requirements of the position

Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience
