We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Guarantees Backofficer to support our global operations. You will work alongside dedicated finance and project teams, ensuring that every guarantee and financial instrument aligns with Alstom’s mission to deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable mobility solutions. This role requires ownership, precision, and a passion for operational excellence.

Your Role, Your Impact

- Manage the issuance, amendment, and release of bank guarantees ensuring compliance with internal policies and international standards.

- Collaborate with project managers, treasury, and legal teams to align guarantee requirements with project milestones and contractual obligations.

- Ensure reliability and accuracy of guarantee data in SAP and other financial systems, maintaining full traceability and audit readiness.

- Drive process improvements through automation tools and digital workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce manual errors.

- Share knowledge and best practices across teams, contributing to continuous improvement and standardization of guarantee management processes.

You'll work with sharp, committed teams solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility, ensuring seamless integration of business and technology.

What You Bring

- Strong understanding of bank guarantees, letters of credit, and related financial instruments.

- Proficiency in SAP Treasury or similar ERP systems for financial operations.

- Ability to interpret contractual terms and translate them into guarantee requirements.

- Experience with process optimization tools such as Power BI or Excel VBA.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with global stakeholders.
