About this role
JLL empowers you to shape a brighter way .
Our people at JLL are shaping the future of real estate for a better world by combining world class services, advisory and technology for our clients. We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people and empowering them to thrive, grow meaningful careers and to find a place where they belong. Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.
You’ll be the person who keeps our building connected to the outside world. You’ll make sure every letter, parcel and shipment is received, logged, shipped and delivered quickly and accurately. You’ll work with colleagues, couriers and shippers in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Your friendly, can-do attitude will shape how people across the office experience our service every day. If you enjoy keeping things organised and solving problems as they come up, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Receive, count, verify and log all incoming letters, parcels, freight and overnight or bulk deliveries on the package tracking system.
- Sort, process and stage packages in a fast-paced environment, then deliver mail and packages to departments and desks, using a handheld scanner (PDA) to scan and obtain signatures.
- Prepare and package outgoing materials to prevent damage in transit, and complete all shipping documentation.
- Manage same-day packages so they ship on time, and coordinate special requests such as custom crating, palletising or customer labelling.
- Coordinate export compliance and domestic shipping matters with shippers, including shipment tracking and lost freight, and keep export compliance records up to date.
- Record shipment data, including weight, charges and space availability, and report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record keeping.
- Collect data and prepare weekly and monthly shipping and receiving reports, and take part in export compliance audits.
- Stay on top of global public holidays and international export changes, such as new commodity codes and customs regulations, so deliveries stay on schedule.
What We’re Looking For
- A strong customer care mindset: you’re friendly, cooperative and committed to helping colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially when shipments are delayed, damaged or lost.
- The ability to stay calm, accurate and organised in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication skills in both English and Hungarian.
- Attention to detail in logging items, preparing documentation and keeping records.
- Comfort working from clear instructions and established guidelines, while taking ownership of your daily tasks.
- Interest in shipping, logistics and export compliance, and a willingness to keep learning as regulations change.
- Familiarity with the Bear tracking application, which is an advantage but not a requirement.
What You Can Expect From Us
- An employment contract.
- A benefits package that includes private healthcare and life insurance.
- A professional, stimulating and challenging multinational environment.
- Clear long-term career progression opportunities.
- The freedom to show initiative and make your own mark.
- Access to training and development programmes.
- A friendly, supportive company culture.
