About this role
We’re looking for a Business Performance & Margin Analyst to join our team in Madrid and play a key role in shaping the future of neuro-contextual advertising at a global scale.
Who We Are
Seedtag is the leading Neuro-Contextual Advertising Company.
We are redefining how advertising works in a privacy-first world by moving beyond keywords and cookies, towards understanding human emotion, intent, and context.
Powered by advanced AI and neuroscience, our proprietary technology, Liz, delivers a deep, human-like understanding of content and attention. This enables brands to connect with audiences at the right moment, in the right mindset, with ads that are relevant, engaging, and respectful of the user experience.
Founded in 2014 by two ex-Googlers, Seedtag has grown into a global company with 500+ Seedtaggers across 17 countries, backed by €250M in funding, and expanding rapidly across the open web and Connected TV.
We’re not just building technology, we’re rewriting the rules of advertising.
Your Challenge
As Business Performance & Margin Analyst, you will:
Client Intelligence (your biggest lever)
- Analyse our client portfolio end to end — revenue, margin contribution, delivery quality and growth trajectory — and turn that into a clear point of view on where we should invest more, where we should renegotiate, and where we're losing money.
- Build the recommendations that our commercial and operations teams act on: what to change per client, which accounts deserve more resources, which patterns separate our profitable relationships from our unprofitable ones.
- Use campaign and delivery data to produce concrete operating advice, not just reporting.
Trading Deals & Agency Economics
- Own the analysis of all trading deals and the profitability of our agreements with agencies: what each deal costs us, what it returns, and whether the terms still make sense.
- Build the framework and the recurring review that keeps every deal honest, and flag renegotiation opportunities before renewal.
Joint Deals, Partnerships & Added Value
- Quantify what we give away: joint business deals, partnerships, free impressions, over-delivery and other value-added commitments.
- Put a euro figure on each one, assess whether it bought what it was meant to buy, and set the guardrails for what we commit to going forward.
Contracts, Platforms & Fees
- Review our contracts with platforms, technology vendors and partners: fee structures, revenue shares, minimum commitments and hidden cost leakage.
- Model the impact of alternatives and support renegotiations with clear, defensible analysis.
Publisher & Supply Profitability
- Identify which publishers deliver the strongest economics for us: where our margin is highest, where volume and profitability align, and where we're paying more for inventory than the returns justify.
- Recommend where to deepen partnerships and where to rebalance, backed by numbers.
Guarantees & Commitments
- Analyse our minimum revenue guarantees and similar commercial commitments, identify the ones that are structurally unprofitable, and design how we optimise or exit them.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 2–3 years in strategy or operational consulting, with a track record of structuring ambiguous business problems and turning them into decisions leadership can act on.
- A strong analytical foundation, ideally a Master's in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance or similar.
- Genuinely data-driven. You're comfortable living in large datasets, you know the difference between a number and an insight, and you don't form an opinion before you've looked at the data.
- Strong command of AI tools. You understand how modern AI works, you already use it to multiply your own output, and you're excited about working somewhere that treats it as core infrastructure rather than a side experiment.
- Excellent business judgment and communication. You'll present to commercial leadership, finance and operations and be the person whose analysis settles the argument.
- Ownership mentality. This is a first-of-its-kind role here: you'll be defining the frameworks, not inheriting them.
- Fluent English and Spanish.
- No technical background required. You don't need to code.
