Project Engineer - Bush Construction (Davenport, IA)

Bush Construction is looking to add a  Project Engineer to our Davenport, Iowa team.

Working alongside our Project Managers and Superintendents, our Project Engineers help keep projects on track – supporting planning, documentation, and coordination from preconstruction through closeout. It’s a great opportunity to learn every side of running commercial construction projects, with experienced mentors alongside you.

What can you expect in this role?

- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals.

- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

- Manage project documentation, including RFIs, ASIs, and change orders.

- Support preconstruction, site inspections, and project closeout.

What makes you successful in this position?

- Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Able to read drawings, specifications, and contracts.

- Experience with construction project management software is a plus.

- Able to travel up to 10% of the time.

This position requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle records check. Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
