About this role

Copart, Inc. a technology leader and the premier online vehicle auction platform globally, with over 200 facilities located across the world, Copart links vehicle sellers to more than 750,000 buyers in over 190 countries.  We believe in providing an unmatched experience, every day and everywhere, driven by our people, processes, and technology.

Are you an experienced AR supervisor who thrives at the intersection of people, process, and performance? Do you enjoy supporting your team, keeping daily operations on track, and working through challenges to improve collection results? We’re looking for a Seller Accounts Receivable Supervisor to oversee daily AR activities across multiple lines of business, with a focus on consistent execution, accountability, and customer service.

This role is responsible for supervising day-to-day AR operations and collection activities across Insurance, CDS, and BluCar. You’ll provide hands-on guidance to team members, help resolve account issues, monitor performance, and ensure work is completed accurately and on time. You’ll also partner with other departments to address collection barriers, maintain consistent processes, and identify opportunities to improve how the team works.

If you enjoy being close to the work, helping employees work through challenges, staying engaged with sellers, and finding practical ways to improve results, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, figures things out, and adapts as the department evolves, without needing constant direction. Success in this role requires ownership, resourcefulness, and a willingness to keep learning and developing.

What You'll Do

- Lead and develop team members and team leads through coaching, clear expectations, and consistent feedback.
- Oversee daily workflows, staffing coverage, collection activities, escalations and performance across Seller AR teams.
- Partner with internal departments to resolve account issues, address operational risks, and improve processes.
- Monitor team performance, reinforce established procedures and controls, and communicate operational needs and results to the Seller AR Manager.

What Success Looks Like

Team Culture and Development: A respectful, collaborative environment where employees feel supported, comfortable raising concerns, and accountable for results. Team members receive consistent coaching, feedback, and opportunities to grow.

Subject Matter Expertise and Hands-On Support: Serves as a knowledgeable resource for AR processes, systems, and complex account issues. Provides hands-on guidance to team members, helps resolve escalations, and reinforces consistent execution.

Collection Performance and Seller Outreach: AR aging and overdue balances are actively managed against departmental goals. High-risk accounts receive appropriate attention, and direct seller outreach helps resolve collection barriers and maintain productive relationships.

Reporting and Accountability: Reporting is accurate, timely, and actionable. Performance trends, collection risks, staffing needs, and opportunities for improvement are identified and communicated with clear recommendations.

Operational Excellence: Workflows, staffing, and coverage are managed effectively, with consistent adherence to procedures, service expectations, and internal controls.

Initiative and Adaptability: Takes ownership of responsibilities and moves work forward with minimal direction. Recognizes what needs attention, independently seeks answers and solutions, adapts to changing priorities and processes, and continuously develops the knowledge and skills needed to be effective in the role.

Continuous Improvement: Challenges the status quo by questioning inefficient processes, identifying root causes, and pursuing practical improvements and automation that strengthen collection results, accuracy, and team productivity.

What You'll Bring

- 3–5 years of Accounts Receivable experience, including strong knowledge of collections and AR operations.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
- Ability to coach and develop employees, manage performance, and lead daily operations across multiple teams.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in insurance, fleet, lending, or automotive auction environments.

- Experience collaborating across departments to resolve operational issues and improve business processes.
