How you will make an impact:
As Plant & Facilities Technician II, you will take ownership of the reliability of our state-of-the-art heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, plant, and equipment. You will improve existing preventive and predictive maintenance programmes while applying advanced diagnostic skills to perform necessary repairs efficiently and minimise unplanned downtime. You will work across electrical, electronic, PLC, and mechanical systems, including the periodic backup and restoration of software. Through your technical expertise and proactive approach, you will help maintain safe, efficient, and reliable facility operations.

- Carry out repairs and maintenance on equipment throughout the facility in the most efficient and safe manner.
- Participate and contribute in Crane Business System (CBS) Kaizen events.
- Suggest and implement improvement opportunities to improve safety, quality and reduce costs.
- Escalate abnormal trends of electricity and water consumption and / or opportunities for improvement.
- Repair and overhaul equipment, systems and components.
- Identify critical spare parts and communicate requirements with the Engineering Storekeeper.
- Compile and update maintenance logs and CMMS records for all interventions.
- Comply with all Company Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and ensure proper use of PPE

Required:

- Technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics discipline or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing plant or industrial environment.
- Strong electro-mechanical fault finding and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of electrical, electronic, PLC, mechanical and plant systems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to support shift patterns and operational requirements

The salary for this role bracket for this role is €26,796- €33,495 annually. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
