About this role

As a Product Manager, you'll own the SAF-T Framework. It's our in-house platform that produces and submits the tax and accounting reports required by tax authorities across EMEA, including SAF-T, FEC, JPK, myDATA and other e-reporting formats. You'll also work alongside a senior PM to roll out our global e-invoicing platform to new markets and use cases, including the upcoming B2B mandates.
The role sits where tax, accounting and software meet. You'll work closely with Tax, Accounting, data engineering and external advisors to keep our reports accurate, complete and on time, and to improve the platform behind them. It's a good fit for someone early in their product career who wants real ownership and a deep specialism in tax technology.

- Own the SAF-T Framework roadmap and backlog: prioritise new market launches, regulatory updates, data-quality improvements and platform features.
- Proactively research tax-authority requirements, clarify unclear questions with advisors, and turn requirements into clear report specifications and data mappings from our accounting data sources to each country's format.
- Investigate ad-hoc production report issues, including validation errors and tax-authority audit findings. In short, apply fixes in reports to ensure we are not delayed for submission. In the long term, find out the root cause and drive the fix with the right team.
- Write clear Jira stories with acceptance criteria. Run sprint planning with engineering and review features and sample reports in staging before release.
- Maintain reference data and mappings, such as charts of accounts and tax codes, together with Tax and Accounting stakeholders.
- Keep SAF-T documentation and knowledge-base content current, including the content that feeds our AI support assistant.
- Support the senior e-invoicing PM with new market launches: requirements analysis, mapping and validation-rule definition, testing and go-live coordination.
- Monitor upcoming EMEA tax-reporting and e-invoicing mandates and flag their impact early.
- Use data to find recurring problems and propose automation or process improvements.

- Two or more years of experience in software product management, business analysis, or a similar role on an Agile software team.
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance concepts: general ledger, trial balance, invoices, payments and VAT.
- Ability to query SQL databases to investigate and validate data. Familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB) is a plus.
- Comfort working with structured data formats such as XML and XSD, and reading technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail.
- Clear, structured written and spoken communication in English, with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage several workstreams and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Advanced user of Jira, Confluence and Office. Familiarity with Git.
- Some flexibility in working hours, since teams are spread across time zones.
- Experience in tax, audit, statutory reporting or tax technology (for example from consulting).
- Knowledge of SAF-T, e-invoicing or e-reporting regulations in EMEA (for example Peppol, EN 16931, myDATA, KSeF).
- Experience with ERP or finance systems.
- Interest in applying AI or automation to operational workflows.
- Additional European languages.
