Loan Operations Analyst - Entry Level

Team/Role Overview:

The Loan Operations Team provide operational support for multiple Clients and business sectors across the UK/E/MEA region providing Loan Administration services for both syndicated and bilateral deals originated and captured within the region.

The mission is to provide a high quality and consistent level of service to all entities throughout the life cycle of the loan.

What you'll do:

- Process, maintain and administrate financial operations in global environment
- Prepare reports and statistics for our partners
- Contribute in syndicated and bilateral loaning process
- Identify and report on vulnerabilities and risks in the process
- Clarify and resolve discrepancies between the data
- Involves in providing day-to-day loan transactional processing which may include booking cash transactions and making payments, performing loan reconciliations, input of general ledger entries and (complex) calculations
- Possible interaction with other counterparties around positions and outstanding balances/claims
- Supports an expansive and/or diverse array of products (risk and control)/services

What we'll need from you:

- 0-2 years of relevant professional experience
- Understanding of Syndicated Loan Processes, Procedures, Products and Services
- Very good command of English
- Strong analytical skills and good attention to details
- Working knowledge of MS Office, with a strong focus on MS Excel (experience with macros and VBA will be a huge advantage)
- Adequate ability to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues
- Awareness of risk types, policies and control measures and processes
- Comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adhering to Policies
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
