About this role

SafeStreets USA is looking for a Field Ops Manager to oversee our field technician teams and keep install and service operations running smoothly across CCTV, intrusion, and access control jobs. You'll set the operational standards, manage the people and processes that make the field work, and make sure our crews are set up to deliver quality work on time.

This role owns the bigger picture of field performance: staffing, safety, quality, and output across multiple technicians or crews. If you've managed field teams in the security industry and know how to keep a crew accountable without micromanaging them, we want to talk to you.

What you'll do

Oversee day-to-day field operations across CCTV, intrusion, and access control installs and service calls, working with Service Managers and dispatch to keep crews productive and on schedule.

Set and enforce standards for job quality, safety, and documentation, and step in when jobs fall short to identify the root cause and fix it.

Manage, coach, and develop field technicians and crew leads, including hiring, training, and performance reviews.

Track key field metrics such as job completion rates, callbacks, drive time, and customer satisfaction, and use that data to find and fix bottlenecks.

Own vehicle, equipment, and inventory needs for field crews, making sure technicians have what they need to do the job right.

Partner with sales, design, and customer support to resolve escalations and keep field capacity aligned with the pipeline of upcoming work.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policy across all field operations.

What you'll need

Several years of experience managing field technician teams in the security industry.

Technical knowledge of CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems, strong enough to evaluate job quality and troubleshoot escalated issues.

A track record of hiring, developing, and holding technicians accountable to clear performance standards.

Strong analytical skills. You're comfortable pulling and acting on data like completion rates, callback rates, and labor hours.

Excellent communication skills across technicians, other managers, and leadership.

The ability to travel to job sites and crew locations as needed.

Nice to have

Experience managing field operations across multiple markets or regions.

Experience with a national or multi-site account structure.

Familiarity with dispatch/scheduling software and specific CCTV, intrusion, or access control platforms used at SafeStreets.
